Journey to Nicole
This morning we woke up at 4:30 am Beijing Time (which is 4:30 in the afternoon in Cincinnati).
After the hotel buffet breakfast, which was pretty good, we went and toured Tian'an Men Square, The Forbidden City, and The Great Wall.
We were supposed to go to a Kung Fu show after the Great Wall but everyone was too tired.
The wind was blowing strongly and it was very cold.

View from our hotel.
We are on the 12th floor of the Jing Lun Hotel in Beijing, China

In front of the Tian'an Men Square Museum.
Very cold and windy.
Tian'an Men Square is the site of large celebrations and rallies, such as the annual National Day celebrations held October 1.

The center of the square contains the tomb of Mao Zedong, who established the Communist government in 1949.

Lunch. Yummy.
Dave left hungry.

At the bottom of the Great Wall

Dave superimposed against the Great Wall. Actually this is a real shot of Dave close to the top of the Great Wall. (But it sure looks fake!)

I made it to the top!
Wow, my legs sure hurt now.

Don't Fall.

Weather turned out perfect for climbing the Wall.

The little pink speck an inch from the center is Anne.

Incredible Views.

Anne's new boyfriend.
We are having fun! But we are just so anxious to get our Nikki. We are getting so close. We can not wait to hold her in our arms and kiss her sweet little face. We only have 3 more days to go. Yippee!
Joe - Mommy and Daddy love you soooo much.
We miss you .
Big hugs and loads of love to you all!!
